What does ๐ต๐ผ Palau Flag mean?
A light blue field with a golden-yellow disc set slightly towards the hoist, representing the full moon over the Pacific. Palau is known for the Rock Islands, Jellyfish Lake and world-class diving, and visitors make the Palau Pledge to protect its environment. The flag appears in posts about snorkelling, marine conservation and island life.
Technically, ๐ต๐ผ is not a single character: it is the pair of regional indicator letters ๐ต ๐ผ, which spell the region code PW. Apps that support flags combine the two letters into a flag; Windows does not draw country flags, so on Windows you see the letters PW instead โ the emoji still arrives as a flag on the recipientโs phone.
๐ต๐ผ Palau Flag is an emoji from the Flags category (country flags), added in Emoji 2.0 in 2015.
