What does ๐จ๐ฒ Cameroon Flag mean?
Vertical green, red and yellow bands, with a yellow five-pointed star, known as the โstar of unityโ, in the centre of the red. Cameroonians share it on National Day, 20 May, and for the Indomitable Lions, five-time African champions, in both French and English, the countryโs two official languages. Food lovers pair it with ndolรฉ and plantains.
Technically, ๐จ๐ฒ is not a single character: it is the pair of regional indicator letters ๐จ ๐ฒ, which spell the region code CM. Apps that support flags combine the two letters into a flag; Windows does not draw country flags, so on Windows you see the letters CM instead โ the emoji still arrives as a flag on the recipientโs phone.
๐จ๐ฒ Cameroon Flag is an emoji from the Flags category (country flags), added in Emoji 2.0 in 2015.
