What does ๐ฆ๐ฉ Andorra Flag mean?
Blue, yellow and red vertical bands make up Andorraโs flag, with the national coat of arms in the centre of the yellow stripe. The tiny Pyrenean principality between France and Spain draws skiers, hikers and duty-free shoppers, and Catalan is its only official language. Andorrans celebrate Meritxell Day, their national holiday, on 8 September.
Technically, ๐ฆ๐ฉ is not a single character: it is the pair of regional indicator letters ๐ฆ ๐ฉ, which spell the region code AD. Apps that support flags combine the two letters into a flag; Windows does not draw country flags, so on Windows you see the letters AD instead โ the emoji still arrives as a flag on the recipientโs phone.
๐ฆ๐ฉ Andorra Flag is an emoji from the Flags category (country flags), added in Emoji 2.0 in 2015.
