What does ๐ป๐ช Venezuela Flag mean?
Yellow, blue and red horizontal stripes with an arc of eight white stars on the blue; the state version adds the coat of arms. Venezuelans at home and in the large diaspora use it to show pride, celebrate Independence Day on 5 July, share arepas and baseball, and post about Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world.
Technically, ๐ป๐ช is not a single character: it is the pair of regional indicator letters ๐ป ๐ช, which spell the region code VE. Apps that support flags combine the two letters into a flag; Windows does not draw country flags, so on Windows you see the letters VE instead โ the emoji still arrives as a flag on the recipientโs phone.
๐ป๐ช Venezuela Flag is an emoji from the Flags category (country flags), added in Emoji 2.0 in 2015.
