What does ๐ช๐ช Estonia Flag mean?
Three horizontal stripes of blue, black and white, known as โsinimustvalgeโ. The colours are often linked to the sky, the dark soil and the snow or birch bark of the Estonian landscape. Estonians post it on Independence Day, 24 February, and at song festivals, and the flag pops up in posts about Tallinnโs Old Town, saunas and the countryโs startup scene.
Technically, ๐ช๐ช is not a single character: it is the pair of regional indicator letters ๐ช ๐ช, which spell the region code EE. Apps that support flags combine the two letters into a flag; Windows does not draw country flags, so on Windows you see the letters EE instead โ the emoji still arrives as a flag on the recipientโs phone.
๐ช๐ช Estonia Flag is an emoji from the Flags category (country flags), added in Emoji 2.0 in 2015.
