What does ๐ช๐ท Eritrea Flag mean?
A red triangle stretches from the hoist across the whole flag, dividing a green triangle above from a blue one below, and a gold olive wreath around an upright olive branch sits on the red. Eritreans mark Independence Day on 24 May, and the flag appears in posts about Asmaraโs modernist architecture, coffee ceremonies and the countryโs cycling champions.
Technically, ๐ช๐ท is not a single character: it is the pair of regional indicator letters ๐ช ๐ท, which spell the region code ER. Apps that support flags combine the two letters into a flag; Windows does not draw country flags, so on Windows you see the letters ER instead โ the emoji still arrives as a flag on the recipientโs phone.
๐ช๐ท Eritrea Flag is an emoji from the Flags category (country flags), added in Emoji 2.0 in 2015.
