What does ๐ Tangerine mean?
A bright orange citrus fruit with a small green leaf. Officially it is a tangerine, but since there is no separate orange emoji, most people use it for any orange, mandarin or clementine. It stands for vitamin C, fresh juice, healthy snacks and sunny vibes, and it doubles as a quick way to mention the color orange, for example in team colors or outfit plans. Pair it with ๐ง for a breakfast juice moment.
๐ Tangerine is an emoji from the Food & Drink category (fruits), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010. People use it in messages about c, citrus, fruit, nectarine, orange and vitamin.
