Emoji 11.0 (2018)

Emoji 11.0 is where emoji version numbers were aligned with Unicode’s own numbering, which is why the list jumps from 5.0 straight to 11.0. The release brought 🥰 smiling face with hearts, 🥳 partying face and 🥺 pleading face, which quickly became popular, plus 🦸 superhero, 🦝 raccoon and 🧁 cupcake. It also added red hair, curly hair, white hair and bald options for people.
