What does 🥶 Cold Face mean?
Blue in the face and frosted over, this emoji is freezing. It reacts to winter mornings, cold showers, icy offices and air conditioning set far too low. Slang adds another layer: “cold” can mean harsh or ruthless, so it often follows a brutal comeback, and it can also mean impressively cool and composed. Context decides whether someone is chilly or impressed.
🥶 Cold Face is an emoji from the Smileys & Emotion category (unwell faces), added in Emoji 11.0 in 2018. People use it in messages about blue, blue-faced, freezing, frostbite, icicles and subzero.
