What does ✨ Sparkles mean?
A cluster of twinkling stars that adds shine to almost anything. People use ✨ to mark something as new, clean, special or magical, and to wrap words for emphasis – “✨self-care✨” or “✨vibes✨”. That same framing is often ironic, as in “✨anxiety✨” or “✨no sleep✨”, giving a sarcastic sparkle to bad news. It is one of the most flexible emojis around, equally at home in aesthetic captions, compliments and celebrations.
✨ Sparkles is an emoji from the Activities category (events & celebrations), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010. People use it in messages about *, magic, sparkle, star and shiny.
