What does ๐๐ผ Vulcan Salute: Medium-Light Skin Tone mean?

It is the salute of the Vulcans and usually stands in for โlive long and prosperโ. Beyond the fandom it works as a geeky hello or goodbye, a nod to science fiction, or a playful sign of respect. Plenty of people cannot make the gesture with their real hand, which is part of the fun.
