What does 🥨 Pretzel mean?
A twisted, salted pretzel. It brings to mind German bakeries, beer gardens and Oktoberfest, as well as soft pretzels at malls, stadiums and fairs. The knotted shape gives it a figurative use for anything twisted or convoluted, like contorting yourself into a pretzel to please everyone or a plan that makes no sense. Pair it with 🍺 for a beer garden afternoon.
🥨 Pretzel is an emoji from the Food & Drink category (prepared foods), added in Emoji 5.0 in 2017. People use it in messages about convoluted and twisted.
