What does 🧀 Cheese Wedge mean?
A wedge of yellow cheese dotted with holes, like a classic Swiss-style cheese. It covers cheese boards, mac and cheese, pizza and grilled cheese cravings, and it is the natural emoji for “say cheese” before a photo. Something “cheesy” is corny or sentimental, so it often flags a cringe joke or a sappy line. Pair it with 🍷 for a wine and cheese night.
🧀 Cheese Wedge is an emoji from the Food & Drink category (prepared foods), added in Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
