What does ๐ Neutral Face mean?
A straight line for a mouth and wide-open eyes make this the definition of deadpan. It tells people you are unimpressed, unamused or unsure how to react. Awkward silences, a joke that fell flat and underwhelming news all fit. Rather than open annoyance, the neutral face shows a blank, slightly speechless โokay thenโ, a notch calmer than ๐.
๐ Neutral Face is an emoji from the Smileys & Emotion category (neutral & skeptical faces), added in Emoji 0.7 in 2014. People use it in messages about awkward, blank, deadpan, expressionless, fine and jealous.
