What does ๐ง Zombie mean?
An undead figure, usually with greenish skin, straight out of horror films and apocalypse stories. It shows up for Halloween, zombie games and series, and jokes about survival plans. Just as often it describes being exhausted: dragging yourself through a Monday, running on no sleep or staring blankly before the first coffee. Like the genie, it has no skin tone options, and man and woman versions exist.
๐ง Zombie is an emoji from the People & Body category (fantasy characters), added in Emoji 5.0 in 2017. People use it in messages about apocalypse, dead, halloween, horror, scary and undead.
