What does 🥱 Yawning Face mean?
A big, wide yawn makes this face either sleepy or bored. It shows you are tired and ready for bed, or playfully suggests that something is dull, like a long lecture or a predictable plot. It can also tease a friend whose story is dragging on. Unlike 😴, this face is still awake, but only just.
🥱 Yawning Face is an emoji from the Smileys & Emotion category (concerned faces), added in Emoji 12.0 in 2019. People use it in messages about bedtime, bored, goodnight, nap, night and sleep.
