What does 📹 Video Camera mean?
A handheld video camera, the camcorder of family vacations. It stands for recording video, vlogging, livestreams and home movies. People use it to say “I’m filming this”, to share clips or to tease a throwback recorded years ago. In some chats it also hints at a video call. Unlike 🎥, which feels like professional cinema, 📹 suggests casual, personal recording.
📹 Video Camera is an emoji from the Objects category (cameras, film & lights), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010. People use it in messages about camcorder and tbt.
