What does 🦨 Skunk mean?
A black-and-white skunk with its bushy tail raised. Its main job is pointing out a terrible smell, from a sweaty gym bag to someone who just broke wind. In games, getting skunked means losing without scoring. In some slang it refers to strong-smelling cannabis. Despite the stink, its cute design means some people use it simply as a quirky animal.
🦨 Skunk is an emoji from the Animals & Nature category (mammals), added in Emoji 12.0 in 2019. People use it in messages about animal and stink.
