What does 🤲 Palms Up Together mean?
Palms up and side by side, slightly cupped as if receiving something. It is widely tied to prayer, especially dua in Islam, where hands are raised while asking God for blessings. People also use it for hoping, wishing, asking with humility, or offering something with both hands. Compared with 🙏, which often means please or thank you, 🤲 leans toward open-handed prayer and supplication.
🤲 Palms Up Together is an emoji from the People & Body category (two-hand gestures), added in Emoji 5.0 in 2017. People use it in messages about cupped, dua, hands, pray, prayer and wish.
