What does ๐ Folded Hands mean?
Palms pressed flat together, fingers pointing up. Depending on who sends it, it means please, thank you, prayer, hope or deep respect. In Japan the pose is used for thanks and polite requests, and in South and Southeast Asia it echoes greetings like namaste. A few people read it as a high five, but that interpretation is rare. Reach for it to plead, pray, thank someone or show gratitude.
๐ Folded Hands is an emoji from the People & Body category (two-hand gestures), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010. People use it in messages about appreciate, ask, beg, blessed, bow and cmon.
