What does ๐ Monorail mean?
A train running on a single elevated rail. It shows up for theme parks, airport shuttles and futuristic transit systems, as well as for trips to cities that have a monorail line. People often use it with a sense of fun or retro-futurism, since monorails can feel like something out of a science fiction city. For regular commuter rail, ๐ or ๐ are more fitting.
๐ Monorail is an emoji from the Travel & Places category (ground transport), added in Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
