What does ๐ Grinning Face mean?
A round yellow face with a wide grin that shows the top row of teeth and cheerful open eyes. It is the most straightforward way to say you are happy, in a good mood or genuinely pleased about something. Unlike ๐ it feels relaxed rather than excited, so it also works as a friendly sign-off that keeps a message from sounding cold.
๐ Grinning Face is an emoji from the Smileys & Emotion category (smiling faces), added in Emoji 1.0 in 2015. People use it in messages about cheerful, cheery, grin, happy, laugh and nice.
