What does 🦤 Dodo mean?
A plump, flightless dodo with a hooked beak. The bird lived on Mauritius and became extinct centuries ago, so it is a symbol of extinction and things that are long gone. People use it for outdated technology, abandoned trends and anything that went “the way of the dodo.” It can also gently mock someone clueless. It was added in 2020 with Emoji 13.0.
🦤 Dodo is an emoji from the Animals & Nature category (birds), added in Emoji 13.0 in 2020. People use it in messages about animal, bird, extinction, large and ornithology.
