What does 🔫 Water Pistol mean?
A toy water pistol, usually brightly coloured. On today’s major platforms it looks like a summer toy for water fights, but older designs showed a real revolver, so on some devices or in some contexts it can still read as threatening. It is used for water fights, pool parties and playful “gotcha” moments, and occasionally as jokey finger guns. Context matters, so use it with a light touch.
🔫 Water Pistol is an emoji from the Activities category (games & toys), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010. People use it in messages about gun, handgun, revolver, tool and weapon.
