What does 🤔 Thinking Face mean?
Hand on chin, this face is deep in thought. It can be sincere, as in weighing options or working out a puzzle, or skeptical, casting doubt on a dubious claim. Senders also use it to invite a question, to hint that something does not quite add up or to set up a playful “hmm, interesting”. That range makes it one of the most versatile reaction emojis.
🤔 Thinking Face is an emoji from the Smileys & Emotion category (faces with hands), added in Emoji 1.0 in 2015. People use it in messages about chin, consider, hmm, ponder, pondering and wondering.
