A person with a microscope, usually dressed for the lab, standing for scientists of every field, from chemists and biologists to physicists and engineers. People use it for lab work, research, science class and exam revision. Playfully, it marks any experiment: a strange new recipe, a fresh hair color or testing whether a life hack actually works. It also appears in the bios of researchers and science communicators. This is the gender-neutral scientist.
๐ง๐ฝโ๐ฌ Scientist: Medium Skin Tone is an emoji from the People & Body category (jobs & roles), added in Emoji 12.1 in 2019. People use it in messages about biologist, chemist, engineer, mathematician and physicist.
