Emoji 12.1 (2019)

Emoji 12.1 was a sequence-only release focused on gender-neutral options. It added neutral “person” versions of professions such as 🧑‍💻 technologist, 🧑‍🍳 cook, 🧑‍🚀 astronaut and 🧑‍🎨 artist, together with neutral hairstyles like 🧑‍🦰 person: red hair and people using mobility aids. Counting skin tones, it adds well over a hundred variations to the keyboard.
