What does 🚻 Restroom mean?
Male and female figures side by side, the familiar sign for a public toilet. It answers the eternal “where’s the bathroom?” and appears in venue guides, road-trip planning and urgent pit-stop requests. Some people also use it for unisex or shared facilities. Compared with 🚾, which spells out WC, it relies on figures instead of letters, so it reads at a glance in any language.
🚻 Restroom is an emoji from the Symbols category (transport & facility signs), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010. People use it in messages about bathroom, lavatory, toilet and WC.
