What does ✖️ Multiply mean?
A heavy multiplication sign. Besides doing maths, people use it as an “x” between two names to announce a collaboration (“artist ✖️ brand”), to mean “times” in a count, or as a softer alternative to ❌ for no or wrong. In design and gaming chats it can also mean close or cancel.
✖️ Multiply is an emoji from the Symbols category (math symbols), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010. People use it in messages about ×, cancel, multiplication, sign and x.
