What does ๐ Chequered Flag mean?
Black and white squares in a chequerboard pattern make up the flag that is waved as the winner crosses the line in motor racing. Fans of Formula 1, NASCAR, MotoGP and karting post it on race days, but it also works as a general โfinished!โ signal: a submitted thesis, the last day of exams, a completed marathon or a project that has finally shipped.
๐ Chequered Flag is an emoji from the Flags category (special flags), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010. People use it in messages about checkered, finish, flags, game, race and racing.
