The building blocks of an angry face
Most angry kaomoji share a few tell-tale parts. The ╬ symbol mimics the popping forehead vein seen in manga, while 益 and 皿 stand in for clenched teeth. Eyes are usually slanted inward with ` and ´, or replaced by the intense stare of ಠ. Arms raised with ヽ and ノ show someone who is not just annoyed but actively ranting.
Keeping it playful
In most chats, an angry kaomoji reads as theatrical rather than hostile. Sending ( ̄^ ̄) when a friend eats the last slice of pizza is clearly a joke, and the cartoonish style keeps the tone light. If you are genuinely upset, though, plain words are clearer — a kaomoji can soften a complaint, but it should not replace an honest conversation.
