What does ✌️ Victory Hand mean?
Index and middle fingers raised in a V. Depending on the sender, it means peace, victory, or a breezy “later!” when leaving a conversation. It is also a go-to photo pose, especially across East Asia, where flashing a V in pictures is a cheerful habit. In the UK, Ireland and Australia, a V made with the back of the hand facing outward is an insult, though few people read the emoji that way.
✌️ Victory Hand is an emoji from the People & Body category (hand gestures: partial fingers), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010. People use it in messages about peace and v.
