What does ๐ Snail mean?
A snail with a spiral shell crawling slowly. It is the classic emoji for slowness: slow replies, slow internet, slow progress. People also use it for old-fashioned post, or โsnail mail.โ Gardeners use it when snails eat their plants, and food lovers use it for escargot. Its cute shape makes it a gentle way to apologise for being late.
๐ Snail is an emoji from the Animals & Nature category (bugs & insects), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010. People use it in messages about animal, escargot, garden, nature and slug.
