What does ๐ Kissing Face mean?
Puckered lips and plain open eyes make this the most low-key of the kissing faces. It can be sent as a simple kiss, but plenty of people read it as whistling, which gives it a second life as a playful โnothing to see hereโ after a cheeky remark. Without the heart of ๐ or the blush of ๐, it feels lighter and far less romantic.
๐ Kissing Face is an emoji from the Smileys & Emotion category (affectionate faces), added in Emoji 1.0 in 2015. People use it in messages about 143, date, dating, flirt, ily and kiss.
