What does 🏬 Department Store mean?
A large multi-floor shop selling clothes, beauty products, homeware and much more. It means shopping trips, malls, big sales and gift hunting, plus a little retail therapy. People send it before a long shopping day or when describing holiday crowds. It is grander than 🏪, which is just a small convenience shop, and pairs naturally with 🛍️.
🏬 Department Store is an emoji from the Travel & Places category (buildings), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010.
