What does 🪙 Coin mean?
A gold or silver coin. It stands for money, small change, savings, tips and wealth, and it is especially popular in cryptocurrency chats, where tokens are literally called coins. Gamers use it for in-game currency and loot, and others use it for a coin toss when a decision needs settling. It arrived with Emoji 13.0, later than 💰 and 💵, so it feels a bit more modern.
🪙 Coin is an emoji from the Objects category (money), added in Emoji 13.0 in 2020. People use it in messages about dollar, euro, gold, metal, money and rich.
