What does 🌸 Cherry Blossom mean?
A pale pink cherry blossom with five rounded petals. It is a symbol of spring and especially of Japan, where friends gather under blooming trees for hanami, the custom of flower-viewing picnics. Because the blossoms fall within days, it can carry a gentle sense of fleeting beauty. Online it adds softness to compliments, bios and cute captions, and some people simply use it as a pretty pink accent.
🌸 Cherry Blossom is an emoji from the Animals & Nature category (flowers), added in Emoji 0.6 in 2010. People use it in messages about flower, plant, spring and springtime.
